心（思考）の性質

It is only when the mind realises that all this is Maya (illusion) that it will draw back its feelers from the sensory world and give up its worldly, selfish attitude. The nature of the mind is to waver, hesitate and flutter in its search for happiness and peace. When it realises that the objects it runs after are transitory and meaningless, it gets suddenly ashamed and disillusioned. Then it begins to follow the Inner Consciousness.

感覚的な世界から怖じ気づく触知者とその世俗的な、利己的な態度をやめるのがすべてこのマーヤ（幻覚）だと心（思考）がはっきり理解するだけの話です。 心（思考）の性質は、幸福と平穏を探すのに揺らぎ、躊躇し、そわそわするものです。　それが追いかける物体が一時的で、無意味であることをはっきり理解すれば、心（思考）は直ぐに恥じ入り、幻滅を感じます。　それから心（思考）は内なる意識に従い始めるのです。
